    Prairie Meats Beef bacon is made with beef brisket that is cleaned with the fat trimmed to a ¼ inch. It is then cured, smoked and blast chilled. Because of its lean nature beef bacon can be considered a healthier option to replace regular pork bacon. The whole piece can be roasted and sliced for any breakfast meal.

Re-freezing Meat

It is OK to re-freeze meat only if there are still a significant amount of ice crystals present in the meat or if the meat is still firm from freezing.  Otherwise it needs to be cooked.
